Cada vez que la activista Yaricel Figueredo Valdés se traslada hasta el Santuario de El Cobre o la Habana, los agentes de la Seguridad del estado, junto a policías la maltratan y le dan golpes junto a las demás Damas de Blanco, llevándolas detenidas. Fechas de detenciones: a) 14-11-2011 detenida hasta 15-11-2011 en Contramaestre; b) 7-12-2011 detención hasta 10-11-2011 en Contramaestre; c) 24-03-2012 detenida hasta 26-03-2011 en Contramaestre; 24-08-2013 detención hasta 26-08-2013 en Santiago de Cuba. Las demás detenciones fueron por varias horas en Centro de Detención del Camino Vecinal, Dos Palmas para impedirle llegar a la Misa de El Santuario de el Cobre. Su casa es objeto de actos de repudio. Les tiran piedras; son golpeados duramente, viviendo en un estado de inseguridad e incertidumbre.
