Miembro del Partido Repúblicano de Cuba fue intercectado cuando salía de una reunión de la junta directiva provincial del Partido. Fue esposado a la fuerza y golpeado. Acto seguido lo trasladaron para su cuartel, donde lo volvieron a golpear y le amenazaron. A la noche fue liberado sin cargo.
