En 2010, Leonardo Cantillo es detenido y condenado a 7 años de prisión tras encontrar la policía restos de Marihuana que no le pertenecían en el patio de su vivienda. Testigos afirman que policías de paisano estuvieron horas antes en el mismo patio. Condenado por tráfico y tenencia de drogas y en prisión, ha sido objeto de palizas por militares y otros reos. A su madre se le ha negado la posibilidad de visitarlo, y además ha sido reprendida por la policía por sus actividades contestatarias.
