Abraham se encontraba en una actividad festiva organizada por la UNPACU cuando varios agentes irrumpieron violentamente y detuvieron arbitrariamente a los participantes. Los detenidos fueron trasladados a la PNR de Mella, donde permanecieron detenidos durante más de 12 horas. Más tarde, entrada la madrugada, fueron trasladados en ómnibus y abandonados a las afueras.
