Se dirigía para la Iglesia para asistir a misa pero unas cuadras ante de llegar a la Iglesia es detenida por dos de la policía nacional al mando de la policía política, impidiéndole llegar a misa nuevamente se la llevan detenida para la PNR de Gibara.Es amenazada con aplicarle la ley 88 y con meterla presa de continuar su activismo en la UNPACU.
