- Descripción
On the morning of November 15, 2021, the police together with State Security forces and members of the Rapid Response Brigades, pushed open the door and entered the home of Mr. Diosbay Zalazar Rodríguez. They stole several personal items and equipment - which have not been returned to his owner-, detained the activist and took him to the San Antonio del Sur Police Unit. He was retained for more than 24 hours in a cell, during which he had no access to water, food, a mattress to sleep on, medical or legal assistance. When he was allowed to leave, Officer Lionis told him that he was under house arrest, that he would be prosecuted for disobedience and, in addition, after slapping him in the face, threatened that they are going to make him disappear.
