Eduviges Isaac Rodríguez ha sido detenida en innumerables ocasiones, coincidiendo siempre con su intento de traslado al Santuario del Cobre o la Habana. Los agentes de la Seguridad del Estado, junto a policías, golpearon en repetidas ocasiones a Eduviges Isaac Rodríguez así como a otras Damas de Blanco, llevándolas detenidas.
