Demis participó en la protesta del 11 de julio del 2021 junto a una multitud del Municipio Placeteño. El grupo demandaba libertad, mejoras económicas y otras necesidades. El 18 de julio lo arrestaron y lo condujeron hacia la estación policial municipal, después para el Vivac en Caibarien y por último a prisión. También le realizaron un registro en casa de su mamá, donde tiene una fábrica de caramelos.
