Laura Maria Labrada Pollan fue detenida por agentes de la Seguridad del Estado, la Policía Nacional y turbas paramilitares, en plena calle tras haber participado en una misa en la iglesia Santa Rita de Casia cuando se dirigía a depositar flores en el mar para honrar la memoria de las víctimas del Remolcador 13 de marzo. Fue llevada para el centro de detenciones de Tarará donde permaneció varias horas bajo arresto.
