El denunciante estaba en su casa inaugurando una célula de la UNPACU cuando agentes de policía irrumpieron en el lugar golpeando a todos los jóvenes que se encontraba presentes y llevándoselos detenidos. Permanecieron 8 horas bajo arresto y fueron amenazados com negativas consecuencias de continuar con su activismo.
