La denunciante fue violentamente golpeada y detenida cuando esperaba por el ómnibus que la llevaría de vuelta a su ciudad tras manifestarse en La Habana. Posteriormente, los mismos agentes de policia enviaron a la víctima de vuelta a su provincia si bien ésta perdió varias pertenencias como consecuencia de los actos violentos.
