El martes 13 de julio de 2021, Dayron Dadiz Larrondo es citado por el oficial de la Policía Política Héctor de la Fe Freire. El oficial lo acusó por ser uno de los promotores de la protesta del domingo 11 de julio de 2021. Por este motivo, lo mantiene detenido durante 24 horas y posteriormente lo liberan con una medida cautelar de fianza en efectivo de 1000.00 cup y en espera de un juicio oral.
